Product Specification

MC11S and MC11T are high-integrated two-channel capacitive sensor chips. The chip is directly connected to the differential capacitive plate near the measured object, and the change of small capacitor is measured by resonant excitation and solution calculation. The excitation frequency is configurable in the range of 0.1 to 20 MHz, and its frequency measurement output is a 16bit digital signal, corresponding to a capacitive perception with the highest resolution of 1 fF. The chip adopts fully digital design, functional configuration and data reading and write support the I2C communication rate of up to 1 MHz. In addition, the chip integrates a temperature sensing circuit that can be used for temperature compensation and other temperature sensing scenarios.

Capacacitive sensing realizes dielectric detection of different objects and quality by the combination of detection electrodes, which is a non-contact detection technology with low power consumption, low cost and high resolution. Compared with the traditional RC oscillation touch capacitor structure, MC11S and MC11T have stable operation and simple circuit, with only one reference capacitor and configurable working frequency, which are suitable for a variety of application scenarios. The frequency calculation of the chip is fully digital output through the internal digital signal processing unit, and a variety of working modes can be flexibly configured.

Compared with similar products at home and abroad, MC11S and MC11T have low-cost peripheral circuit, wider capacitance excitation frequency, wider, working voltage range, more flexible reference frequency and working mode configuration. The chip has a temperature sensing signal for temperature compensation, and the independent dual-channel measurement circuit can compensate each other, and can also be configured with automatic alarm logic. Small-size, low-cost chip can be widely used in liquid level measurement, touch control, water immersion sensing and other detection scenarios.
